After spending a ridiculous amount of time constructing, checking, and tweaking it, my college paper is finally finished. Had some fun with the rather fiddly booklet function in Word and discovered folding the end product square isn’t as easy as it sounds. However, it’s now ready for hand-in tomorrow! Read the full paper here. Although its been a painful exercise, I do feel my understanding of my practice has moved on considerably as a result, and I’m now viewing what I write (paper’s, blogs) as an extension of my practice, developing my communication with others in terms of what I say and how many people it reaches.
Now off to experiment with some small, 3-D maquettes before transferring the approach to a huge 1.8m square version!
